Vermontʼs Lake Champlain and other waters of the state need significant financial and policy investment in order to be restored. This course will look specifically at how the Lake became polluted, the stateʼs attempts at clean-up over the past decade, and the current policies in place to make improvements to the health of the Lake. This course will be organized as a legislative committee and will incorporate witnesses who will present a range of financial and policy solutions. Students will act as legislators and work to find the best solutions to this problem.
