Nothing can inform, conceal or embellish like a hat. Students in this course will learn a variety of millinery techniques through the making of buckram, wire framed, and felt hats.

Prerequisites: Permission of the instructor. Sewing Fundamentals, prior sewing experience, Costume History, or at least one studio class in a visual arts discipline is highly recommended. Please email the instructor about your interest in the course prior to May 15, 2018.
