Course registration typically starts in early May for fall term, and early November for spring term. Registration proceeds online, in Populi, in stages, so as to distribute seats more equitably among students. After discussing course selection with your faculty advisor, and securing any necessary registration exceptions, you’ll be able to register for up to eight credits in 2000-level courses directly in Populi. Faculty will then register students in Populi for any approved 4000-level courses. And then you can complete your schedule the following day with any remaining 2000-level courses. Registration remains open through the end of the term; you’ll also have the opportunity to fine tune your schedule during add/drop at the beginning of the next term. You may register for no more than 18 credits during registration, though you may add credits in excess of 18 during the add/drop period at the beginning of the term.
