In My Backyard (MOD2160.02)

Peter Pagnucco

On this ever shrinking planet, the likelihood that one will be a stakeholder in a dispute over natural resources, land development or environmental injury has never been greater.  This module is designed to enrich students understanding and experience relative to effectively managing and participating in multi-party conflict resolution processes.  Students will study a classic text on multi-party public process, “Managing Public Disputes”, participate in a multi-party environmental conflict resolution process role play, and prepare a final journal/reflection project.
