Real Analysis (MAT4146.01)

In this course we will develop a rigorous understanding of the real number system and the foundations of calculus with an emphasis on proof writing and mathematical communication. Topics covered will include: the structure of the real number line, convergence, continuity, limits, and differentiation. Additional topics such as power series, countability, integration, and metric spaces will be included as time permits.

Prerequisites: Calculus: Analysis of the Infinite (MAT4145.01) or permission of the instructor.
