As a student of ceramics, kiln technology is one of the most important tools towards attaining comprehensive form and surface unity This course is an opportunity for the ceramic students to research a variety of traditional and experimental ceramic firing techniques. The course includes basic thermodynamics/kiln atmospheres, problem-solving specific firing needs, kiln building, aesthetics of different firing techniques and ceramic process. Class is designed for the serious ceramic and art student.
