Faculty Performance Production (DRA4143.01)

Kirk Jackson & Kerry Ryer-Parke

A faculty directed production is to be determined. Mostly likely it will be a contemporary playwright and include live music either centrally or peripherally; music direction by Kerry Ryer-Parke and stage direction by Kirk Jackson, with a target performance date of early November.

This course is for students cast or otherwise assigned production responsibilities and represents the work both in and out of rehearsal necessary to build a successful performance and/or collaboration in production. Rehearsals, tech, and performance constitute students’ commitment.

Prerequisites: By audition only. Students should prepare a two minute memorized monologue to be scheduled during Drama auditions held the first week of the term.

T 7:00pm - 10:00pm; W 7:00pm - 10:00pm; Th 7:00pm - 10:00pm; F 7:00pm-10:00pm; Sat 1:00pm - 5:00pm (Rehearsals will be flexible within these outside parameters.)
