Collage, From 2D to 3D (CER4223.01)

Barry Bartlett

Investigate the nature of creating form using collaging techniques in both paper and clay.
Paper collaging will be used to construct drawing/surfaces that will relate to forms to be made using ceramic slab techniques.

The class will be working through a series of quick exercises throughout the term; each designed to explore the possibilities of interpretative actions and reactions within the context of the subject. Students will have to purchase paper and drawing materials, which might include, paint, ink, charcoal, and pencils.
Some ceramic tools will be required
