This seven week course on Thursday evenings from 7:10 to 9:00 PM will cover a range of important public policies that are currently being discussed, changed and implemented having to do with race, climate change, clean water, voting rights, health and international relations. Guest speakers from the private and public sector will address these topics. Students will be expected to attend each session and write a response paper that covers each dialogue. The first session will be a short introduction to governance structures on the federal, state and local level.
