Music Lecture Series (MHI2000.01)

The class will meet weekly for 12 lectures on a wide range of musical topics, given by faculty and visiting speakers on a rotating basis. The course will provide snapshots into musical performance and scholarship, across genres, cultures, and histories. Occasionally the class will sing or play in an ensemble, and the course welcomes students from any background. Students will write weekly responses to the lectures.
