Bennington Curriculum

Welcome to the Bennington College Curriculum! The Curriculum helps you design a course of study and work that supports your Plan in the most meaningful ways. It is an open Curriculum—there are few defined paths. We encourage you to explore by title, keyword, or faculty name.

How to Use the Curriculum

The Curriculum is organized by term, and within each term, the courses have been categorized into one or more areas of study, the number of credits, level (2000 or 4000), length of the class (full term, 7 weeks, or 3 weeks), and delivery method. 2000-level courses are available to all students; 4000-level courses require one or more prerequisites.

The menus on the left side of the page allow you to search by area of study, day/time, levels, credits, and faculty. Or you can search by keyword or faculty name.

Have Questions?

For questions about the Curriculum itself or the registration process, email our Registrar’s Office. Your faculty advisor is also an excellent resource for conversations about how individual courses might fit into your Plan.
