Beginning Cello II (MIN4354.01)

The basics of cello, part two. In a small group, students will learn how to play cello, with an emphasis on a group performance at the term’s conclusion.


Learning Outcomes:
-basics in reading music
-be able to make music on the instrument
-exposure to some of the great cello repertoire



Delivery Method: Fully in-person
Prerequisites:
Beginning Cello I or by permission of instructor (contact Nathaniel Parke at nparke@bennington.edu). School cellos available for loan. Auditions will take place the week of November 10-17.
Corequisites: Attend music workshop 8 out of 14 weeks
