Beginning Cello II (MIN4354.01)

The basics of cello, part two. In a small group or one-on-one, students will learn how to play cello, with an emphasis on performance at the term’s conclusion.


Learning Outcomes:
-Learn the basics of cello technique
-Become able to play simple yet high quality short pieces


Delivery Method: Fully in-person
Prerequisites: Must have completed Beginning Cello I, and also by permission of instructor. Audition required; to schedule, contact nparke@bennington.edu. Auditions will be held in Jennings 214.
Corequisites: Must attend and participate in Music Workshop (Tuesday, 6:30 – 8pm) 8 out of 14 weeks per term.
