The course is for students who have prior experience with the instrument. Students are expected to practice daily (minimum of 30 minutes). End-of-semester performance is required.


Learning Outcomes:
Lessons will be tailored to the experience and development of each student and will target:
-posture
-note reading and rhythm
-different bow-strokes
-dynamics
-shifting
-bow-strokes and articulations
-vibrato
-dynamics, phrasing and musical style
