Democracy in America: Public Policy Forum (APA2237.01)

Brian Campion

How would we know if America’s democracy is being threatened and weakened? With a focus on free and fair elections, this course engages this question by starting with understanding what a democracy is, how we measure its attributes, how we effectively assess whether a democracy is strong or deteriorating, and most importantly, how to restore it. We will delve into these questions and others with those doing the best and most important work in this field.
